On January 1, 1980 Terry and Judy Cattron bought the Neely Lumber & Supply Co. from Mr. Ray Neely and renamed it Cattron’s Lumber & Supply. The business was then located at 317 W. Clark St. in Downtown Negaunee.

In 1991 the Cattron’s moved the business to its present location at 800 US Hwy 41 East in Negaunee. They purchased the former Hi-Lo Club property which they then remodeled and also added to it one of the first drive-through warehouses in the area.

Cattron’s Lumber has changed and grown over the years. We went from a small store located on a residential street with warehouses all over town, to a much larger store with storage facilities all consolidated in a single location on US 41 Hwy. Cattron’s Lumber has also moved from offering just basic building materials to a full-service building center. We keep a large stock of everything an individual or a contractor would need for building or remodeling a residential or commercial building.
